March 10, 2013 -- Morning through the windows at chez McLennan.
As part of an online film class I've been taking,we watched Punch-Drunk Love to see how the director, Paul Thomas. Anderson, used color and framing to help tell the story. He did a lot of framing with horizontal and vertical lines, which inspired this attempt to use the vertical and horizontal lines around my house to see what happened. He also uses color motifs of red, blue, green, and white, plus lens flare -- I didn't try to emulate those...yet. (Actually, the color motifs are far more obvious than the framing. It is probably one of the better Adam Sandler movies too.)
